base models dont come with any suspension adjustment,

Hhhhm... I have never looked at my base 99 suspension, but I know the spyder does have.

How do i get a cool pic of my car to show on the bottom of my posts? It keeps saying the pics to large...

On the suspension all I see is coilovers. Damn good ones, but that isnt gonna stop your bodyroll.

Front swaybars do more harm than good for canyons, they tend to make you understeer. If you will upgrade your front swaybar go with a VR4 one. Bolts right up, and is thicker, but not TOO thick.

Get a rear swaybar fo sho though.

If youre experiencing brake fade on Turnbull a PERFECT fix and upgrade for that is running stainless steel braided brake lines. The brake lines arent made of rubber, so when your Fluid boils over, the lines wont flex and your pedal stays stiff. When you repalce these lines its also a good idea to do the vr4 brake swap.

Also set the front coilovers to the bottom third of the soft setting. And on the rear set them near the top third of the stiff side. Softens the front for turn ins, and tire grip. And stiffens the rear for follow through, and minimizes bodyroll.

As it is now, I dont feel any body roll. The suspension is very stiff. Feels like my friends drift tune on his nissan 350z. You can take it for a ride and tell me what you think. When I go up drive ways at an angle to avoid smashing in my front bumper it teeter totters haha...

And btw you cant drift FWD cars haha. That wing is doing more harm than good, it doesnt look BAD. But If youre going Function over form. Get a stockie, or retrofit the Active Aero from VR4s. The VR4 wings are Wind Tunnell tested to work.

My old setup was FWD Base 5Spd.

I had:
Megan Coilovers(-3 Degrees of camber, and 0 toe in the rear/-1.5 degrees of camber and 0 toe in the front)
VR4 Brakes
Stainless Steel Lines
Sticky Federal 595 Tires
17x9 wheels all around.
VR4 front Sway
And had a Rear swaybar ready to go in before I sold it.

I would do a Canyon Run once in a while, went thru GMR twice, and did Mullholland once. What i will say is that if you need more grip get WIDE wheels with STICKY tires. Ohh baby will they look good and will do more than that wing for grip. Just look at how much my front stuck out....

I like your setup toeknee. what was our offset on the wheels? and did u put on any spacers? that looks more than 17x9 the way it's sticking out

Theyre about +35 with 15mm spacers. So +20mm. No spacers out back

your 99 base is a SOHC right? then it doesn't have a spot for the rear sway bar

Thats VERY good, they go for S1700-S2100 new. The only other person I remember here on socal3s that has JIC coilovers its Dale and now you.

actually tjenkins also has JIC coilovers for a couple years now.

your 99 base is a SOHC right? then it doesn't have a spot for the rear sway bar

All 97-99 base are sohc.I know that it doesnt have the spot for a sway bar or end links for it, but Im wondering about stuff like camber bolts.

Also a comparison with the stock rear sway bar and the addco rear sway bar.

Sadly... I have a new problem... I feel like throwing a wrench at the effing car now... My Battery died last night (who knows how) so I get a ride to work... This afternoon I installed my NEW HID headlamps while the bat was being charged. Then I finally start it and leave it running while I clean up my mess. The car was on long enough to reach running temp and the fans had cycled twice and just after they shut off the second time.... SMOKE FROM UNDER MY TIMING COVER!!!!

OMG why me... =( The engine made a few click clacking sounds and stayed on but I shut it off as fast as I could! I inspected under the hood to see if I had left a tool or something under the hood but nothing to be found and my inventory was exact.... I fired it up again and it started as normal (minus the click clacking sound) and then shut down on its own... as I noticed smoke from the engine bay. so i looked under the hood again and had my friend start it and that's when I seen the smoke coming from the timing cover in huge amounts... he shut it off as this time it stayed on and I noticed coolant under the car small amount no more then the palm of your typical hand...

Someone please tell me its my water pump... PLEASE!!!!
