For the record because of their twist lock design and the big "washers" it was PITA to install, but well worth it in the end.

They are very important for any aftermarket hood due to the weight.

It is not needed but in my case I should've had them...

yes i will comment 11 days later and yes it is because im bored.

i had a 575 without hood pics and i took it very fast (there was a small gap on the left front) so the hood would raise a bit but if it didnt fly off at 120 repeatedly, it never will.

my mustang has hood pins, easy to install, look great, peace of mind
